Who Can Apply?
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates who have set their sights on UNN during the 2023 Universities Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have secured a score of 160 or above are eligible for this screening.
- Moreover, UNN mandates that all aspirants seeking admission into any of its myriad courses should hold five ‘O’ level passes in their academic credentials.
Steering Through the Application Process
Application Fee:
Every eligible candidate needs to make a payment of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only). This can be processed through the Remita Platform available at any prominent Commercial Bank.
Your Step-by-Step Guide to Register:
- Start your journey by visiting the official UNN website: www.unn.edu.ng
- In the top right corner, you’ll find the UNN portal. Click on it.
- Navigate to the Prospective Students section.
- Choose the Online Application Form for the 2023/2024 Admission Screening Exercise.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Generate an Invoice for payment.
- Make your payment at a bank or simply use your ATM Card for an online transaction.
- Once done, return to the portal and re-enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Fill in your Date of Birth and all the other necessary fields.
- Furnish details of your O-Level Subjects and Grades. Don’t forget to add your Examination Centre and Number.
- Verify the grades entered.
- It’s time to upload the necessary certificates. Make sure each document size doesn’t exceed 100KB:
- Birth Certificate
- Local Government Identification
- Testimonial
- First School Leaving Certificate
- JAMB Result Slip
- O-Level documents (Note: If you’ve appeared twice, provide both sets of documents.)
- After reviewing all your details on the summary page, ensure everything looks accurate.
- Check the confirmation box and hit SUBMIT.
- Don’t forget to print your acknowledgment slip.
Short Note instead of a conventional P-UTME CBT exam The screening exam for the academic session 2023/2024 will be based on an examination of confirmed JAMB UTME O/L Direct Entry, and O/Level results. Each candidate must upload their O/Level scores at CAPS on time. Failure to do this could affect your chances of acceptance.
