ADMISSION RESTRICTIONS
POST GRADUATE DIPLOM (PGD). Admission to PGD is available for first degree holders in any discipline at the University of Port Harcourt or from any other institution approved by the University. Higher National Diploma (HND), or its equivalent, with a minimum Upper Credit in a related discipline from any recognized institution by the University of Port Harcourt.
MASTER OF SCIENCE
First-degree holders (M.Sc.) in related disciplines, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 5-point scale. Postgraduate Diploma in CCDCD, University of Port Harcourt (or any other recognized institution) with a minimum CGPA of 3,0 on a 5-point scale.
MODE OF STUDY and PROGRAMME DURATION
The PGD/M.Sc. programme is for a minimum of 12 calendar months and a maximum of 24 calendar months if you are enrolled full-time. For part-time students, the duration is based on completing 24 calendar months. The duration of the PGD/M.Sc. programme is 12 calendar month minimum and 24 calendar month maximum for full-time students; 24 calendar monthly minimum and 36 calendar calendar months maximum for part-time students.
